Unsurprisingly my rampant and uninhibited praise for the PSP has been negated by a trademark change of heart. Now it's *all* about the video ipod which allows me to combine my unhealthy obsession with shiny gadgets and equally unhealthy attachment to pisspoor American TV.



To be fair comments on the lack of comfort in squinting at the tiny screen for great stretches are pretty much on the money - a gruelling 2 1/2 hour Prison Break marathon confirmed this - but it's still a smart bit of kit. And after all is an ipod.

Oh, and speaking of Prison Break, it's currently the subject of *the* worst ad campaign I've ever seen. Channel 5 have lumped all the shows from their new season of programming into one promotion featuring portraits of the various actors in close-up. All well and good if you're talking Michael Douglas in Wonder Boys but when your biggest name is the admittedly brilliant Peter Stormare it seems a rather baffling move. Will try and get a photo next time I'm out.
